What are some of the Machine learning tools and technology you are excited about in the Healthcare space?

Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence -

There are two types of ML technology that I am excited about in the Healthcare space. The first is a pure analytics play using ML and the next is blockchain for this industry.

Analytics - I am excited about what ML can do to make treatment more personalized for patients. By running in-depth analytics, this tech is able to go through patient records and outcomes to make sure there is minimal human error in selecting the right treatment for patients. This not only helps these patients, but allows insurance companies to cut costs as well. There are too many startups in this space today, but I still very excited about the overall benefit this can have to healthcare in this country.

Blockchain – I am also watching blockchain and how it will be used to track drugs through the

whole supply chain. To date, no one has pulled this off yet but there are quite a few smart people out there working on it. If they do succeed, this will not only be a win for the Healthcare space but will see transformation in industries like farming and energy.
