I make it known that dogs, cats, kids, washing machines are all ok interruptions, and expected, so no worries. I find the team working just as smart/harder - no concerns on any of this. More concerned about the anxiety that individuals and families have about their physical and mental health, maintaining jobs for them and spouses and the overall economy. It is taking a toll and I am greatly concerned.

Ironically, I have found a better balance for work and life. Lunches are more practical to take and an easier boundary to keep. 530 is also an easier boundary. We'll eventually make it back to the office, but I'm going to keep the newfound boundaries.

Biggest concern is child psychology and the long term effects of isolation and not physically playing with kids for 6 weeks and counting. Setting up Zoom play sessions over the weekend and spending quality time with my kid for proper PE and Recess is critical. You have to the time.

As before, it's always, for me, been about work/life integration, not trying to achieve balance, which is unrealistic. Set boundaries with both family and co-workers about availability and that there will undoubtedly be disruptions that are unavoidable. Transaparent, direct communication always helps, and is certainly needed during this challenging time.

It is tough.  We have a nonstop 16 hour operation (between me abs my wife). I'm concerned about what happens if I'm summoned into the office without childcare facilities open to allow my wife to get her work done.

Mental & physical health for my son and myself. So we go to virtual therapy each one, that allows us to focus on ourselves as individuals. We do exercise on q daily basis that helps us stay strong. As a CTO I keep a structured discipline that reflects in my personal life & viceversa.
