How important will explainable AI be to the future of business transformation?

I'm seeing many companies that are focusing in that area today.  Unfortunately,  quite a few have raised substantial capital and gotten nowhere. The good news is that it seems like the revenue may finally be catching up with the investment. I'm seeing companies succeed that have targeted use cases even if their core underlying platforms that could actually be used for almost anything. The ones that are getting any traction have very targeted use cases. It could be in claims processing  user retention, or fraud detection or many other areas. In any case, the successful ones seem to be focused on quite specific use cases rather than broad-based explainable AI.
