What has helped you and your team manage their work-life balance when working remotely?

I've made a couple of personal choices, and I've made sure to communicate to my team to make sure that we are all getting that work-life balance. For me in particular, I found that I was spending too much time in my home office. I set up my personal computer in a completely different room than my work computer to reduce the time spent in that home office. I also close the door to that room after I'm done working for the evening so that when I start walking in that direction, I see the door and I'm like, "Oh do I really need to go in there?" So those are some things that we did during the pandemic to make sure that we were staying healthy and sane.

With us being remote, all of these personality tests are really starting to kick in. Some people could be on an island by themselves and be happy, and those people are thriving in this kind of setting. But there is still that need to at least once in a while get together. Employees are figuring that out and they're getting together for drinks or cocktails or whatever. So I think teams are really just working through it.
