COVID-19 has caused an unprecedented shift to WFH. How is your organization adapting or shifting to support this new “normal”?

Threat and Vulnerability Management, Strategy Amidst the change, we've begun to focus and prioritize accountability across the team. When we're all remote, it makes it much more difficult to know who's working on what and when things are getting done, or what's blocking people from getting their work done. So, to accommodate for this, we've increased lines of communication, by adding daily stand ups and creating more Slack channels to break up conversations and make sure the right people are getting the information they need, when they need it.

At Acceleprise, we are looking for more ways to create transparency around what people are working on, what is being prioritized and what is getting done. We are using a product called HumbleDot to help facilitate that, and continuing to use products like Trello, Slack and Drive. We are also doing a weekly virtual happy hour to keep the team connected socially and using touchbase.team to help recreate the quick adhoc conversations that happen in the office over video instead.

We use a combination of Zoom and Teams for increased communication and collaboration. Our teams meet weekly as a huddle, we discuss projects, work, but we also make sure we go around and give each person the opportunity to acknowledge something awesome someone has done for them, could be in our teams or cross-functional. We have also cut down on the number of daily, weekly meetings we have in favor of shared documents or communication channels where we freely provide updates, raise flags on blocks, other issues, etc.
