Do you consider your board of directors a third-party risk because they're outside the company?

I think all board of directors have to use specific software, whether it's IntraLinks, or Boardvantage or Diligent. You have to use specific software for board communications. And I would introduce this discipline if I join a board that doesn’t use this software.  I think it's very important, because the documents that you review as a board member are of the highest confidentiality, especially if you get engaged with M&A's and legal actions.

They have a lot of access to sensitive information, and by and large, their admins are probably printing stuff and giving it to them if they're the old guard, because they don't know how to login to box. I know I would be targeting the boards, or frankly, I'd be targeting the executives in their home systems. And then from there, pivot in.
