What’s the biggest win or recognition you can get as a leader?

Top Answer : The biggest win or recognition one can get as an operational leader is when the processes, the tools, the automation, the thought framework that was established at a young start-up is solid enough to actually now scale and support a much larger organization and a much larger business.  When I was a Mist, it was all of a hundred people.  We were very lean and agile like most start-ups.  And yet, I feel we were able to put in a very solid framework and foundation that actually spans everything from sales process, sales enablement, sales go-to-market process... all the way up to fulfillment and delivery and reverse logistics. And we did that with a lot of thought, with a lot of intentionality, and with a lot of automation.  In the one and a half years since getting acquired by Juniper, we're actually taking all of that simplicity, scale, and automation over to a company as large as Juniper. And to me, that's amazing and something for which I'm truly grateful and humbled.

I have 2 answers here: 1) when staff start using your words/vision and adopt as their own in both internal conversations and those with clients. 2) feedback that your efforts have changed traditional or historical ways of thinking in such a way that you are truly valued as a business and strategic partner, not just the operational one.
