We can create those private meetings to protect us from the Zoom bombing, disable the screen sharing for all participants except the host. But the most effective solution sadly may be to just stop using Zoom. Microsoft teams has been fantastic, just need to sort out providing dial in numbers with passcodes and integrating with onsite room systems!!

We use both Meet and Zoom, but Zoom is not entirely adopted on the team. I personally like the call quality on Zoom and usability, but I prefer using Meet in general.

We don't want to make a decision under pressure. While there had certainly been some issues around Zoom, there is no guarantee any of the competitors does not have similar issues, which only hasn't surfaced as the whole planet is looking at the success of Zoom. We'll continue monitoring the situation carefully and will make an informed decision accordingly, but most likely only when the pandemic situation improves.
